ITINERARY
DAY 1: CASABLANCA
Casablanca is of the largest and most important cities in Africa, Visit the Hassan II mosque, a glorious structure believed to be only second in size to Islam’s most important site, Mecca in Saudi Arabia. We will also make a brief stop at Rick’s Cafe.
DAY 2-4: MARRAKECH
Marrakesh, Morocco’s fourth oldest imperial city and one of the world’s most enchanting cities. The Marrakesh walking tour takes us to the Koutoubia mosque, Djama’ Lefnan plaza, gardens, bazaars and museums.
DAY 5; NKOB
Cross the gorgeous scenery of the high Atlas mountains before arriving at the captivating Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, in Ouarzazate. We stop en route in the heart of Nkob village for the night; the home of Ait Atta tribe.
DAY 6: MERZOUGA
Drive to Merzouga just in time to witness the spectacular sunset over the dunes. Join the Khamlia tribe for a Gnawa musical performance. Camel ride, camp in the berber tents and enjoy the magical Saharan landscape.
DAY 7: ERFOUD
Enjoy the sunrise in the sahara dunes. Drive 4*4 across the dunes to explore the irrigation system in the Sahara oasis. Visit a local NGO and resume the journey to Rissani. Visit the shrine of Ali Sherif; The founder of Alouite dynasty.
DAY 08-09: FES
Cross the middle Atlas mountains, through berber villages and the city of Ifrane; a fairy-tale town unlike any other in Morocco. The guided tour of Fes will take us into the heart of this extraordinary medieval walled city.
