The Terms and Conditions below govern the relationship between you and us, Travel 2 Morocco. By booking a tour, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. All details contained herein are, to the best of our knowledge, correct and it is in good faith that we have published them.
1- WHAT IS INCLUDED
1.1• Group arrival/departure transfers, transport between destinations and to/from included activities, and all activities as listed in the itinerary.
1.2• All components of the trip are included, including transportation, bottled water, tour guides, camels, and museum admission fees.
1.3• All tours are half-board: 2 meals each day.
1.4•All trip prices are per person based on double occupancy. If you’re traveling on your own, we’ll pair you up with a roommate of the same gender so that you can pay the same rate as other travelers.
1.5• Only group activities, as mentioned in the itinerary, are included in the price you pay for the tour.
1.6• Individual activities are covered by you at 100%.
1.7• You are fully responsible for any costs of early arrivals or late departures, such as airport/ hotel transfers, meals, and accommodations. …
2-MAKE A BOOKING
To make a booking, you can choose one of the payment methods available on the website, and the steps to check out. In case that is not possible, please email us at info@travel2morocco.com
2.1• A deposit of 50% of the total price is required at least three months before we confirm a booking for a tour. The remaining balance should be transferred no later than 60 days before the beginning of the tour.
2.2• Please note that costs of payment(s) transferred via bank are not included in the tour price, all such costs shall be borne entirely by you. The deposit is non-refundable but can be credited to the cost of an alternative trip taken within eighteen months of the original start date of your travel arrangements. On receipt of your deposit/payment in full, we will confirm your travel arrangements in writing and issue a detailed itinerary and invoice. We reserve the right to change the price, services, or other particulars before written confirmation of your booking.
2.3• The price of Private Group Bookings depends on the number of seats reserved. If one or more seats are canceled, the price will be affected. Once confirmed, the price of your travel arrangements is not subject to further surcharges or increases.
2.4• It is essential that you provide passenger names (including forenames) as they appear on passports.
2.5• You are responsible for meeting any visa and passport requirements. No visa is required to enter Morocco for US Citizens. Information on visa and passport requirements can be obtained from your nearest Moroccan embassy or www.morocco.embassyhomepage.com
3- Double Occupancy vs My Own Room Option
3.1• During your trip, sometimes it’s just more convenient and comfortable to have your own room. That’s why we offer the “My Own Room” option – a single room all to yourself. If so, you will cover the difference.
3.2 The price of the tour is per double occupancy. In case you end up being in a single room (with no other option to find you a tour roommate), during your tour in Morocco, we will charge just 50% of the single supplement cost while Travel 2 Morocco will cover the other 50%.
4- CANCELLATION BY YOU
4.1• If you wish to cancel your confirmed Tour, notification of cancellation must be made to Travel 2 Morocco by email to info@travel2morocco.com. The date of the cancellation is the date on which written notification is received by our tour company. Cancellation charges are applicable as follows, per person:
4.2• Days prior to trip start Written Notice Received Cancellation Charge:
4.2.1• Within 60 days: Loss of deposit.
4.2.2• Within 45 days: Loss of 50% of the tour price.
4.2.3• Within 30 days: Loss of 100% of the tour price.
5- FORCE MAJEURE
5.1• We may have to make changes to your travel arrangements in the event of Force Majeure.
Force Majeure is for example, circumstances where performance and/or prompt performance is prevented by war, threat of war, riot, civil disturbance, natural or nuclear disasters, regional or global pandemic, terrorist activity, fire, or adverse weather conditions, and or industrial dispute; which can be defined as a dispute between a person, other than ourselves, supplying services comprised in travel arrangements and (a) his employee and/or (b) any other person whose services affect the travel arrangements, which we cannot reasonably be expected to overcome by substituting comparable alternative arrangements.
5.2• Travel 2 Morocco reserves the right to cancel a confirmed tour and will advise customers of such cancellations no later than 60 days before the tour start date. If the cancellation is due to ‘Force Majeure’ or government travel advice, you will be given the choice of taking the same tour within an eighteen-month period or postponing your group tour to a date that works for you. No refunds will be issued and customers will be advised to check with their travel insurance agency.
5.3• Our Tour company will not be liable for any additional costs incurred by you or to pay any other compensation to you.
6- TRAVEL INSURANCE
Adequate and valid travel insurance is compulsory for all our clients. All types of insurance are your responsibility. Before setting out on your trip you must obtain travel insurance that works for you, covering loss, canceled tour, expenses, and damages arising from accidents, injury, illness and death, medical expenses, including any related to pre-existing medical conditions, emergency repatriation, and personal liability.
7- ACCOMMODATION
7.1• The standard of accommodation will vary according to the standards available in Morocco and should be judged according to local standards.
7.2• If you are in any doubt about the suitability, to your own requirements, of the facilities, transport, accommodation, or conditions prevailing in Morocco, then you should inform us as soon as possible otherwise we will not be held responsible for failure to meet your requirements. Whilst every effort will be made to meet reasonable requests, they cannot be guaranteed.
7.3• Hotels are subject to availability and may be changed for a hotel of a similar standard. If so, you will be notified and this may result in an increase in cost subject to your choice of the alternative accommodation that is available for your tour dates.
8- SHARED TOURS
8.1• On shared tours, none has the right to make any changes to the itinerary without the acceptance of everybody. If someone on the tour gets sick, it might not go as arranged and means extra nights in a hotel / Riad which incurs additional costs.
9- SPECIAL REQUESTS
9.1• Special requests or requirements that are essential to your booking (e.g. dietary requirements, wheelchair assistance, or special facilities for certain medical conditions) must be made known to us in writing before you book.
9.2• We will contact our suppliers and the request will only become a term of your contract with us if we confirm in writing that the request can be met and your booking proceeds on that basis.
9.3• We are happy to pass on any other reasonable requests that you may have (e.g. desired location of hotel rooms or other requirements as to meals) but they cannot be guaranteed and will not form part of our contract. No compensation will be payable if such requests are not fulfilled.
9.4• Be flexible in case of varying circumstances and modified itineraries or other conditions.
9.5• Be able to accept different cultures, including local people and your travel mates.
9.6• Respect the local traditions, habits, and way of living.
9.7• Be polite and liberal with your travel mates, guides, staff, driver(s) …
9.8• Avoid offending people around you.
9.9• Avoid using illegal drugs
